Mr. Doug Litteken is a structural engineer at NASA's Johnson Space Center. He is a structural softgoods subject matter expert, with interests in inflatable habitats, airlocks, transfer tunnels, parachutes, and structural health monitoring. His experience includes the design, analysis, testing, and flight certification of softgoods structures. He is the sustaining manager for the Bigelow Expandable Activities Module on the International Space Station and a structures manager for the Orion crew module, certifying the spacecraft through the successful Artemis I and II flights. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering.
